The Korea SIG's mission is:

  • To transfer OMG’s technologies and specifications to the Korean IT industry in cooperation with the related groups in OMG.

  • To contribute to internationalization efforts of the OMG standards and specifications, by providing a wide range of study on Korean localization issues.

The objectives of the Korea SIG are:

  • To study issues specific to the Korean environment, in particular, to the Korean users that require common solutions based on, and harmonized with, the OMG standards.

  • To provide information and comments useful for standardization activities of the PTC, DTC, and AB, particularly, in terms of internationalization, localization and the Korean market.
